The study was designed to look at how English language learners in Engineering colleges, developed their writing abilities through conceptual writing. The study specifically examined how 145 students from the same Engineering college who were chosen using stratified and purposive sample techniques for the study were able to increase their writing skills. Data were collected using pre- and post-intervention tests, which were then analyzed using frequencies, percentages, and arithmetic means. The primary conclusions were that because the pupils had not mastered the talent of conceptual writing, the quality of English writing skills was generally low among English language learners in secondary schools within the Division. Essay writing was found to be a potentially useful conceptual writing education strategy that was highly predictive but not practically oriented. Therefore, it was advised that much more be done to enhance essay writing instruction in order to boost English writing efficacy. All parties involved in the school system should take responsibility for making these reforms.
