Abstract :
The present study aims to find the relationship between Types A personality and Mental health among college students. For this study, a total of 150 samples were taken by using convenient sampling method; the assessment tools being used for this study were Mental Health Checklist and Type A Type B Behavioral Pattern Scale (ABBPS). The result indicates that there is a negative relationship between Type A personality and Mental health among college students. And the result also indicates that there is no significant relationship seen among gender and socio-economic status among college students. The limitations seen in this study showed were the sample size, the type of sampling used and the area from which the samples were taken. Hence, this study showed that there is a negative relationship between Type A personality and Mental health. This showed that if one increases the other one decreases like if mental health is higher in a population, then there will be a decrease seen in type A personality.
