PHOTOCATALYTIC DEGRADATION OF ORGANIC MATERIALS USING METAL DOPED ZnO NANOPARTICLES PREPARED BY CO PRECIPITATION METHOD
The main objectives of present study was the synthesis and characterisation of nanostructured ZnO based photo catalysts with improved photocatalytic activity under UV irradiation as fulfilled substantially. To enhance photoactivity, ZnO was altered by means of doping with metals. The prepared metal substituted ZnO nanoparticles were characterized by XRD, FE-SEM, FTIR and UV-Vis Spectrometer to analyse their crystal structure, morphology and optical properties.
