Since titanium has good biocompatibility, it is frequently utilized in metallic implants. But titanium doesn't achieve the level of osseointegration needed for long-lasting implants. To fix this flaw, we created a poly(N-methyl pyrrole)/hydroxyapatite coating on Ti that is substituted with lanthanum. La-HAP/PNMPy bilayer coatings have been generated, according to surface characterization. Additionally, morphological and elemental analyses were performed. The La-HAP/PNMPy bilayer tested for microhardness by Vicker exhibited improved results. Bacterial colony counts dropped for the La-HAP/PNMPy bilayer, indicating a lower likelihood of implant failure. La-HAP on Ti that has been coated with PNMPy may therefore be a viable material for orthopedic use.
