COMPARATIVE STUDY ON PROCRASTINATION BETWEEN MALE AND FEMALE COLLEGE STUDENTS
Procrastination is the avoidance of doing a task that need be accomplished. The pleasure principle may be responsible for procrastination. Procrastination is defined as delaying the intention of performing an activity consciously in an unreasonable manner. Steel reviews all previous attempts to define procrastination, indicating it is to voluntarily delay an intended course. The present aim of the study is to compare the procrastinations between male and female college students. The tool used for the study is The General Procrastination Scale (Lay, 1986). Convenience sampling method was used for the study, sampling size was 50. Data were analyzed Using standard deviation, mean, Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation.
