A STUDY ON IMPOSTER PHENOMENON AND SELF – ESTEEM AMONG FINAL YEAR WOMEN UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS

Generally, in South Asian households, Women are not given much freedom to pursue what they want. If at all they succeed in getting their education without any interruptions after a few years they are put in a dilemma to choose between their family and career. In most of the cases they are forced and are conditioned to give priority to their family rather than their own happiness. The Present Aim Of The study the relationship between Imposter phenomenon and Self - esteem and its impact among final year women undergraduate students. A total of 345 students were approached for the study and the questionnaires were distributed. Of these 345 questionnaires distributed 326 were returned. Data were analyzed Using Kolmogorov – Smirnov test, Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation, Linear Regression, Independent Sample T-test.
