A STUDY ON AWARENESS ABOUT GREEN MARKETING WITH SPECIAL REFERENCE TO SALEM CITY
Consumers are more concern towards environment and health issues as they are more focused on green marketing & green products purchasing. Green products purchasing are expanding among consumers and societies. Citizens of different age groups have also well awareness towards green marketing concept and eco-friendly products. Customers have distinctive purchasing practices and these practices are continually changing because of the accessibility of best other options. Consequently, this research is based on to investigate the degree of the effect of customers‟ awareness about green marketing with special reference to Salem city. Comfort testing strategy was utilized to choose the appropriate sample data of consumers living in the Salem city and who are more aware and want to purchase green products. The research uncover that the consumer’s are more aware about green marketing and green product as they are more concern and wanted to pay more for green product to keep safe for our environment. So also, the variables influencing the consumers‟ purchasing conduct have significant ramifications on acquiring choices
