NANO HYDROXYAPATITE FOR BIOMEDICAL APPLICATIONS: SIMPLE PRECIPITATION METHOD FROM CHEMICAL AND NATURAL SOURCES

In the past, surgery and bone structure repair were used to treat accident-related bone fractures. Recently, scientists have been forced to develop alternative biomaterials in order to find a solution. Because of its composition, which is remarkably similar to that of human bones and teeth, hydroxyapatite (HAp) is one of the most significant bioactive materials utilized as a substitute for human hard tissue. According to a study, HAp was utilized for bone regeneration in clinical trials in the middle of the 1980s. In addition to being employed as granules, cement, and pastes for bone regenerating applications, HAp has also been used as implant coatings and graft materials.
