Abstract :
Culture depicts people’s customs, their behaviour and their life style. Multiculturalism refers various cultures. India is a multicultural country. This study deals with the theme of Multiculturalism as given by Chetan Bhagat in 2 States – The Story of My Marriage. Different characters and various incidents depicts about multiculturalism in 2 states novel. Culture is one of the most famous terms in literary circle. Culture plays vital role in this novel. Krish and Ananya both were lovers. They came from two various states in India. Krish from north India’s state Punjab and Ananya from south India’s state from Tamilnadu.  They faced so many problems from their family. This study depicts various culture and tradition in two families.
