SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERIZATION OFPOLYANILINE/POLYSTYRENE/BIOLOGICALLY SYNTHESIZED Fe₂O, NANOCOMPOSITES FOR ENHANCED PHOTOCATALYTIC ACTIVITY
Biosynthesis of Fe-O, nanoparticles using aqueous leaves extract of Acalypha Indica in an eco-friendly and greener way by avoiding the toxic and hazardous solvents, hydrolyzing agents and surfactants. Preparation of in-situ polyaniline/ FeO, nanocomposite by oxidative polymerization method. Synthesis of polyaniline/polystyrene/biologically synthesized FeO nanocomposites by simple stirring method. Analytical techniques such as FT-IR. XRD and SEM with EDX can be employed for the prepared polyaniline/Fe2O3 nanocomposites and polyaniline/polystyrene/biologically synthesized Fe;O, nanocomposites. Studies on the photocatalytic performance of polyaniline/polystyrene/biologically synthesized Fe2O3; nanocomposites for the degradation of methyl red dye UV-Vis absorption studies can be applied to study the photocatalytic activity. Hence PANI/PS/FeO nanocompositehave multifunctional properties which may be attractively suitable for many versatile applications.
