Liberalization and WTO norms have created both challenges and opportunities. The present condition is conducive for Institutional Direct Investment. This will in turn create the infrastructure such as Educational Institutions, Housing, Hospitals and Banks. Adopting PURA (Providing Urban Amenities in Rural Areas) by Government and private players will result in Urbanization and the balanced growth of regions.
