VIRTUAL IMAGING PLATFORM FOR MULTIMODALITY MEDICAL IMAGING SIMULATION

Virtual Imaging Platform (VIP). VIP is a versatile open access platform for multimodal medical imaging simulation. Integrate simulators and run simulations with distributed computing resources. VIP has some remaining limitations, partly due to the deployment of the network infrastructure. A centralized web portal simplifies usability and user support, but is a network bottleneck when transferring large files. To solve this problem, files can be transferred directly from users' hosts to storage locations. Performance of small simulations is another problem due to the sharing of computing resources among multiple users. Although pilot jobs are used to reduce latency, jobs still need to be queued for 1 minute to 1 hour. The idea and purpose of this work is to provide user-friendly scalability to the existing VIP simulator to make the work easier, safer and more reliable. The designed series reduces time and requires less energy to operate.
