REMOTE DEVICE EXPLORER SYSTEM
Remote Device Explorer System (RDES) is a client-server application that allows network administrators to track the accessibility of their various nodes and to monitor any misuse of the system resources. RDES is implemented using VB.NET and SQL Server. The client software runs on all employee and team leader systems, while the server software runs on the network administrator's system. The client software allows users to connect to the server and view a list of all the nodes in the network. The server software maintains a database of all the nodes in the network, including their IP addresses, operating systems, and user names.RDES also allows users to remotely control other nodes in the network. This can be done by using a java-enabled applet to control the desktop of the remote node. The remote desktop connection can be made wireless and can be accessed from any part of the world.RDES provides a number of benefits for network administrators. It allows them to track the accessibility of their nodes, monitor for misuse of system resources, and remotely control other nodes in the network. This information can be used to take necessary precautions to protect the network from security threats.
