J.Vikram, K.Saravanan, P.Tamilselvi , D.Gopinath

To determine the Critical Micelle Concentration (CMC), the ultrasonic velocity, density, and viscosity in mixtures of Cetylpyridinium Chloride (CPC) with Water - Alcohols (Methanol, Ethanol, and 1-Propanol) in various concentration ranges are measured at different temperatures, 303, 313 and 323K. Other related acoustical parameters from the experimental data have been assessed, including adiabatic compressibility (), intermolecular free length (Lf), internal pressure (i), free volume (Vf), cohesive energy (CE), relaxation time (), Rao's constant (Ra), absorption coefficient (/f2), acoustical impedance (Za), and solvation number (Sn). In binary mixtures of (i) CPC + Water - Methanol, (ii) CPC + Water - Ethanol, and (iii) CPC + Water -1- Propanol solution, all these parameters have been used to explore various chemical interactions. As measured by the Critical Micelle Concentration (CMC)
