POWER CONSUMPTION MONITORING SYSTEM IN DASHBOARDUSINGIOT
In this paper, a home energy monitoring system and alerts using Ubidots Cloud Services are shown. An Internet of Things (IoT) framework has been created in this research project to track household energy consumption data and transfer it to an IoT cloud. To measure the amount of energy used at the residence, the system makes use of a sensor module (ACS712) that is coupled to an Intel Edison microprocessor. Data on power usage is gathered and saved in UbidotsIoT Cloud Services. Customers may keep an eye on their daily energy use at home and can so regulate how much energy is used. The purpose of the data gathering experiment is to determine how much energy is used at homeThisprojectpresentsahomeenergyconsumption monitoring system and alerts on Cloud Services. The system utilizes a Wi-Fi that connected with RaspberryPiPicotomeasure the power consumption at the home. The power consumption data iscollected and stored into IoT Cloud Services. The consumers can monitor theenergyconsumptionathomeondailybasisandthereforecancontroltheamount of energy usage daily. The data collection experiment is carried out tosee the amount of power consumption at home. The power consumption data isalso displayed on the web page for before and after the load is connected on thesystem. The IoT dashboard accessible online by user to look into their dailypowerconsumptionusingIoTdashboard.IoTCloudperformsomeeventanalytic on the collected power consumption data and notify home owner acaution, recommendation through email and telegram which will alert reduce over usage of power.
