Abstract :
This project details with the "CONSTRUCTION OF RESIDENTIAL BUILDING" is proposed to construct at Salem. The project aims to give proper awareness to right designing and detailing of the building. This structure is analyzed and designed by manual design. The code refers for this project are NBC, IS 456-2000, SP16. The concrete mix used for slabs, beams, columns, staircase, footing are designed by limit state method. The design has been completed by using M20 grade of concrete and high yield strength deformed bars of grade Fe as the purpose of our project is to give an experience in the field of design and applying the design principles and to gain the knowledge in a practical way. The structure has been designed in detail using limit state method of design confirming to IS 456-2000. The plan was drawn on AutoCAD.
