A STUDY ON RECRUITMENT AND SELECTION POLICIES OF LOVELY OFFSET PRINTERS AT SALEM

From the national point of view, human resources are knowledge, skills, creative abilities, talents and attitudes obtained in the population whereas from the view point of the individual enterprise, they represent the total of the inherent abilities, acquired knowledge and skills exemplified in the talents and aptitudes of its employees. Human resources do overall performance of the company.  To achieve the goal of the company and the objectives of the company it is essential to recruit people with requisite skills, qualification and experience.  The HR managers come up with plans and strategies for hiring the right kind of people. Recruitment (hiring) is a core function of human resource management. According to this study it is concluded that the overall opinion of the employees about training program is normal. Further the researcher has identified that most the workers are new to the employment. Therefore the management should take necessary steps to the above suggestions and implement the plans immediately. When the suggestions are followed, the Recruitment and training policy of Lovely Offset Printers private limited, Salem will improve up to the mark.
