A STUDY ON IMPACT OF PERSONALITY TRAITS AMONG STUDENTS
The major objective of the present study is to assess the impact of personality traits among students. To find how the personality trait impacts the academic performance among students. To examine the relationship between demographic variables on personality trait among students. The Big Five Inventory (BFI) by Robert R. McCrae contains brief scales assessing the broad traits of neuroticism, extraversion, openness, agreeableness, and conscientiousness.. The samples are collected from the adults between the age of 18- 45. Sample size is 200. This instrument is comprised of 15 agree / disagree items and yields total scores for extraversion and neurotism as well as validity score. Descriptive in nature sampling technique was used to collect samples from students. The collected data are analyzed using mean, standard deviation, t-test, one way ANOVA by SPSS 20.
